Communication between myself and the parents of my students is of paramount importance to me, because I consider us a team for the benefit of your child.

The above e-mail address is checked throughout the school day (7:00 AM - 2:30 PM), and I will respond to your e-mail promptly, usually within the same school day, if possible and practical. Feel free to propose or confirm appointment times, ask questions about your student's progress, ask about homework activity (or inactivity!), voice concerns, or inform me of important information regarding your child that might be affecting him or her -- such as the death of a family member or pet, pending divorce, custodial issues that complicate homework completion, or the military deployment of a parent if it adversely affects your child. Please be advised that this e-mail address is not checked after work hours, including weekends, school holidays, and summer vacation.
