Directions to Soothing Waters

Soothing Waters is located on Samish Island at 5207 Filbert Lane. Upon entering Samish Island, remain on Samish Island Rd. The first right that you can make is Roney Rd., continue along Samish Island Road past Roney Rd. for 8/10th's of a mile until you reach Filbert Lane. You will make a right on Filbert Lane just after the home with a white fence. Soothing Waters is located at the end of the cul de sac on the right. There will be an address rock just prior to turning into the driveway.

Watsu Clients:

You may park in the circle drive close to the homes. Please proceed up the staircase with the handrails in front of the smaller home and walk through the courtyard between the homes to the black door marked "Soothing Waters" entrance at the left rear of the courtyard . I will be awaiting your arrival here.

For Swim Instruction:

You may park in the circle drive close to the homes. In order to accommodate all participants, please pull forward around the circle as far to the front as you can. Please proceed up the staircase with the handrails in front of the smaller home and walk through the courtyard between the homes to the black door marked "Soothing Waters" entrance at the left rear of the courtyard. This door will lead you to the change area and outdoors to the pool. I will be awaiting your arrival at the pool.

If you are coming from the North (Bellingham, etc)

Head South on I-5. Take the #236 exit, Bow Hill Rd. (Casino exit) head West/right and continue down the hill, cross Chuckanut Rd., pass through the town of Edison and then make a right on Bayview-Edison Rd. (a sign indicates that this is the way to Samish Island) Continue along Bayview-Edison Rd., without turning at the upcoming T intersection you are now on Samish Island Rd. without having to make any turns! From here you may follow the directions at the top of this page.

If you are coming from the South (Seattle, etc.)

Head North on I-5. Take exit #230 and head West/left on Highway #20, (this is also the Anacortes, San Juan Ferries exit) and continue along Highway #20 until you reach Bayview-Edison Rd. where you will turn North/right (Shell and Farmhouse Restaurant are on the opposite side of Hgwy. #20) and continue along Bayview-Edison Rd. until you come to a T-intersection with sign. This is Samish Island Rd. Make a left here and follow the directions at the top of this page.
