Liz has been a certified Watsu practitioner since 1998 and continues to expand her technique through ongoing education. She is a member of the Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association and is certified through the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute. Most recently, Liz's continuing education with ATRI has focused on pediatrics and adaptive swimming. Her Watsu studies have included Watsu, Healing Dance, the Jahara Technique, Aquatic Integration and WaterDance (an underwater version of Watsu). Each warm water therapy session is individualized and may include any combination of these techniques, with the excaption of WaterDance. It is recommednation that a client have at laest three above water sessions before experiencing WaterDance. In addition to operating Soothing Waters, Liz teaches yoga and college level Wellness classes that focus on "Educating for Humanity". Liz's current college classes are listed in the left sidebar in red. Details about each course can be accessed by clicking on the course of your choice. Liz continues to derive immense pleasure from water and delights in sharing the Wonders of Water with others by helping them to achieve well being and independence. Her 12 year public school teaching experience is an asset in teaching swimming skills to children and adults. Liz enjoying the "termas" of Chile.
