Christmas 2005
Anniversary-We just celebrated our 27th! Laura and Chris celebrated their 1st!
Boeing-Dennis continues to work at the Everett plant. He is currently working on the advanced derivatives of the 747 and 777.
Condo-Dennis,
Laura, and Jerene (D’s sister) helped his parents in Nov. move from the farm
into a really nice condo in town. It was a good, yet emotional move.
Dennis –is researching where we can retire. Found a good book about Belize!
Erin
is a senior at Walla Walla College. She has
changed majors so will graduate in 2007. She is health science major and
keeping her options open for graduate school. She is thinking of the
Physician’s Assistant program at Union or Kettering.
Family and Friends-We wish we could see you more often.
Graduation-again.
This year Laura graduated with her master’s in social work. Our nephew, Chris
Nelson, also graduated with civil engineering. Nephew Brandon graduated from
Monterey Bay Academy and niece Alyssa graduated from 8th grade at
Rogers Elementary.
Honda-Erin and Justin bought a black manual Civic coupe together to share at WWC!
Insanity- Sherri is in
the middle of her 5th year teaching in a one-room school. This year
she has 12 students in 7 grades. That keeps her hopping!
Justin is a sophomore at Walla Walla College. He also has changed his major- from civil engineering to architecture. Therefore, beginning this summer, he plans on attending Andrews University in Michigan.
Kayaking-The new hobby we started last spring.
La Sierra-where
Erin took a year’s worth of Organic Chemistry in 9 weeks this summer-and enjoyed
it! We also helped Sherri’s Dad and Lola move from one house to another (next
door) and spent a little time with Sherri’s Grandma while in Calif.
Music-Last March Sherri took 5 girls to Choral Clinic. It really influenced the rest of the school year. Sherri’s dream of a band for school was realized this year. There are 14 members and they gave their first concert this last week. For a beginner band, they were amazing. (Note: Sherri is not the director)
North Dakota-We had a Seibold family reunion in N. Dakota in July. None of the kids were able to come along, but it was good to be able to see the extended family that was able to make it back.
Organist-Sherri still plays for church when we are home.
Ohanepecosh-our
annual Sept. camping trip in the rain with college friends.
Powder-Perfect snowboarding conditions for Erin and Justin.
Quiet house with no kids most of this summer and during the school year.
Reunion- Sherri’s 30th class reunion at Campion in October.
Scrapbooking-Sherri’s favorite hobby & Sailing-Dennis’ favorite hobby
Tokyo-In July, niece Lisa was born to Kevin (Sherri’s brother)and Mari (and joined big brother Thomas)
Up and
Moved-
Laura and Chris moved to Littleton, Colorado this fall. He
transferred with his company, CH2MHill. Laura is looking for a social work
opening. They are enjoying the area.
Virginia-Erin spent the 2004-2005 school year as a task force dean at Shenandoah Valley Academy. She was able to see Washington DC and spent a long weekend in NYC with the other 2 student deans. They even saw Phantom of the Opera on Broadway!
