Headlines.....

Here's one.  It's summer..... really?

The good news is that the cool temperatures have made the fire danger less than usual.  The bad part of course is that with out the warmer temperatures we may not be out as much.  And, if we're not careful and just take the attitude of "Wow what a great day let's go!"(and don't check for TFRs) we can find ourselves in big trouble.  There are still TFRs for fires and it seems that there are many others that pop up on short notice.  While we try to notify our members, you should always check first and/or subscribe to a service that will let you know.  (I can suggest a good one)

Here's another.  Your letters are needed to help keep Ross Lake Open.

The deadline for this is Very Soon.  Please see the detailed story on our Legislative Issues... page.  Stephen Ratzlaff has provided all the details on how and where to respond.  Please take a few minutes to review and help with this important issue.

We look forward to hearing from you(really), flying with you and doing what we can to keep these wonderful waters open for seaplane access too.  So don't hesitate to contact one of us and let us know your thoughts, where you go for fun and what we can do to better serve the Seaplane Community.
