- The quilt backing and batting need to be a total of 8 inches larger than the quilt top, allowing for 4 inches on all sides.
- Indicate the top of your quilt and backing.
- When seaming the back, seam with a 1/2-inch seam allowance. Press the seams open keeping the edges straight and even.
- To avoid puckering, make sure your top piece and backing have been pressed and the corners are square.
- Clip all hanging and stray threads. If you do not, they may appear as unwanted veins through your quilt.
- If you will be requesting binding service or a hanging sleeve, please include the fabric needed. Double check your measurements to make sure you provide enough binding to go around the entire quilt plus an additional 12 inches.
