Flail Mace

The flail mace has to be one of my very favorite hand-to-hand weapons. However… I don’t know of any organization where these are legal. If used properly they can be safe, and a lot of fun. The head is a sock filled with polar-fleece scraps covered in duct-tape, and the cord is a finger-crocheted length of cotton rope. The haft is 18” long, with a 4” unpadded handle area, the head is 5” in diameter and the rope is 9” long. The entire thing weighs about 1 lb.
